Co-Owner, Professional Instructor
Kyle Barels has been dancing for over 14 years as a professional. He has studied ballet/tap/jazz/hip hop/and lyrical, and also instructed in these areas for six years before becoming a ballroom instructor in 2006. Kyle has been awarded Top Teaching Awards through the Fred Astaire organization, and has also received national recognition for his achievements. He has competed professionally for many years, and is currently active in the competitive circuit, where he holds several regional titles. Kyle is now co-owner of Dance Tonight Chattanooga, and he works closely with several nonprofit organizations helping to better the community and further the appreciation of the arts in Chattanooga. He believes that dance is expression in its rawest form, and loves pushing himself and others to new heights while sharing his passion of dance with everyone around him.

Casey Haywood started teaching ballroom dancing in 2009. He came into the studio in Chattanooga, Tennessee with some previous experience with Latin dances in college. After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 2007, Casey moved back to Chattanooga where he found his way into teaching social dance professionally. He has competed in several regional competitions, and loves working on his dancing to get ready for competing. He also loves participating in the non-profit charity events in Chattanooga that raise money to help those who are less fortunate. Casey believes that everyone has a desire to dance inside of them, and loves sharing his love of dance with others. Casey is now co-owner of Dance Tonight Chattanooga, and he aims to get all of Chattanooga up and dancing!
Catharine Coll is a Memphis native that came to Chattanooga to begin school at UTC in 2007. She graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design in 2011. Since then she has worked for many local companies as a designer including Smart Furniture, the Chattanooga Zoo, and many others. Catharine has been with the Dance Tonight family since late 2012, feeding her love of the performing arts and learning and growing as a member of the studio as an intern and then into part time professional instruction. She has competed professionally since Spring of 2013, and loves it. Catharine is professional instructor, Marketing Director and an invaluable asset to the Dance Tonight Chattanooga team. Catharine has volunteered for many organizations and events including the Partnership for Families, Children, and Adults Dancing with the Chattanooga Stars (2013, 2014, 2015), The Kidney Foundation’s Dare to Dance (2014, 2015), The American Cancer Society, AIM Center, The Ronald McDonald House and others.
Tyler Kaiser has been dancing since 2009. He started out dancing in high school his freshman year at Chattanooga Christian School. He took ballroom dancing class as an art credit and he immediately knew he wanted to pursue it. Soon after, Tyler got involved with many of the social dance groups and events in Chattanooga. His social dancing led to a position teaching professionally in 2013. Tyler has competed in competitions and charity ballroom events throughout the area such as, Dancing With The Dalton Stars, Dancing With The Chattanooga Stars, and Dare To Dance. Tyler has finished in 2nd place by being awarded Fan Favorite in Dancing with the Chattanooga Stars in 2014, and along with that Tyler won Grand Champion in Dare To Dance 2014- becoming the youngest champion in Dare To Dance history. Tyler believes that anyone can dance if they believe in pushing themselves to new heights and that through dance, Tyler can inspire others as dance has inspired him.
Cari Brown was born is Seoul, South Korea and was adopted at ten days old. She has lived in the Chattanooga area for most of her life. Her passion for dance began in 2012 where she discovered her love for Ballroom. Cari strongly believes that anyone can learn to dance and is dedicated in helping people reach their goals. She enjoys all aspects of Ballroom including social dancing, teaching private lessons, and participating in competitions, performances and non-profit charity events. She also works in the hospitality industry at one of the Marriott brand hotels in Chattanooga. Cari is now a professional instructor and is excited to continue her growth in dance and share with others her passion!
Rosie Bird has been ballroom dancing for 8 years, and teaching professionally for 2 years. After attending a practice party during her first year of high school, Rosie fell in love with dancing. She has competed as a student and as a professional in the ballroom world, and enjoys it immensely. Rosie is currently studying Business with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She is a fun and exciting teacher, and loves to share her passion with her students!
Michael Love is a Chattanooga native who was very excited to bring his many talents to Dance Tonight Chattanooga. Michael started off as an intern with our studio in the beginning of 2013, and since then has kept working hard. Besides dancing he also works in fitness training, and specializes in group and private instruction for those who are interested in getting into social dancing. Michael is a helpful individual that enjoys the work he does with our studio, not only in teaching others to dance but in every aspect of Dance Tonight Chattanooga!
Ashley Cuticchia works for Chattanooga Sports and Medicine, and has worked full-time and part-time for the dance studio since 2006. Ashley has competed and performed during her time as a dancer with us, as well as taught students for all these years. Ashley has been a Top teacher at the Regional Competitions, and has participated in numerous non-profit events such as Dancing with the Stars Chattanooga and Dare to Dance. She is always excited to dance and help others!
