Fables Showcase

Premise: Students will showcase dance performances that fit the theme of a preexisting fictional story. This could be fables, fairy tales, or stories from television, big screen, or book. Once the routines have been decided, the “stories” will be connected to form one larger narrative, a scripted Story that will be told during the times between the individual performances. There are non-Ballroom dancers that will be participating as well.

We are forming a Group to help put the Set together for the event, and we would love for you to help if you are interested!

This is a Costume Event for the performers and also those that come to watch! There will be GOOD prizes for Best Costume, for participants and for attendees.

We will have some group dance instruction/dancing at the event.

There will also be door prizes, courtesy of participating vendors.

Fables is a costume dance performance event that is unlike anything we have done before, and we are excited to see it and all of your stories come to life!
